Marketing and Distributing your film/webseries with Megan Riakos, director/writer/WIFT president.
The interview for this topic is with feature film writer/director and president of Women in Film & TV (WIFT) Megan Riakos. Megan has had wonderful success with her feature film "Crushed". We have a chat about marketing, building an audience, money, distribution for low budget projects. She shares her top tips, what she has learnt that she won't be doing again, what was successful, and how she will apply this knowledge and experience to her next feature. So valuable for new (or not so new) indie filmmakers when embarking on your film/series projects. I know I learnt a great deal that I will now be thinking of in the writing stage of my web series, which is where I am at right now. Hopefully you can learn something, and apply some of these tips. Would love to hear from other filmmakers about marketing and distribution. - For more about Megan visit: http://www.meganriakos.com/ - For more about IFW and for other interviews visit: https://www.indiefilmworld.tv/ Thanks for watching!
